Every collection starts somewhere different.
Some brands come to us with a complete tech pack. Others bring a sketch, a garment they love, or simply an idea. All of these are good starting points.
Our technicians and designers in Ulaanbaatar guide each project from the first conversation to the final delivery, so no previous experience in knitwear production is needed. Here is how a private label collection comes to life in Mongolia, step by step.

We start where you are: an idea, a sketch or a full tech pack.
Step 1: Understanding your brand and your clients
Before we talk about yarns or stitches, we talk about people. Who wears your collection? At what price point should it sit in store?
These two answers shape every decision that follows. They guide the fiber, the construction and, ultimately, the cost of each piece.
The fiber says a lot about the person wearing it.
Step 2: Choosing the fiber
The fiber has the strongest influence on the final price, and each one feels completely different on the body.
- CashmereLight, soft and warm. The reference for luxury knitwear.
- YakSoft and very warm, with natural earthy tones and a more grounded character.
- CamelWarm and distinctive, with its natural golden shades.
- Sartuul woolA sheep wool with a cashmere touch. Raised in extremely cold regions, Sartuul sheep grow a soft downy undercoat, just like cashmere goats.
Already have samples of your own, or pieces that inspire you? Send them over. They give us a precise reference from day one.
Step 3: Color cards and swatches
We ship yarn color cards and knitted swatches, so you can see and feel the future collection before any garment exists.
This is one of the most important steps. A swatch shows the real color in natural light and the true hand of the fiber. It also lets us set the knit tension, fine-tune the softness and test how the fabric behaves after washing.

Step 4: The first prototype
Once the swatches are approved, we create the first fully finished sample, usually within one to two weeks.
Samples travel by DHL, at very competitive rates negotiated by HYPECHASE, and typically reach most destinations within about five working days. Adjustments are made at this stage, until the sample matches your vision.

working days, on average, for DHL delivery
Step 5: Planning and production
Once the sample is approved, production can begin, whether the order is a small batch or a large one.
We agree on the planning early, ideally while sampling is still in progress: when samples should be approved, and how much time production requires. Bulk lead times range from two weeks to two months, depending on volume and complexity.
Our wide network of ateliers lets us produce considerable volumes in a short time, and deliver on schedule.
Our team follows quality on site throughout production, from the first piece to the last.

Step 6: Documents and delivery
We handle all export paperwork, including the certificate of origin, as well as the logistics. Every shipment is insured and tracked, so your collection arrives safely and on time.
